ABOUT MARY CALTRIDER

I am a student in the Honors College at Purdue University and have a passion for communication. I have served as emcee for the Indianapolis Indians professional baseball team and am currently the host of Purdue Athletics. I enjoy having the microphone in my hand; but my primary goal is to use my communication skills to touch and change people’s lives. In addition to a career that leverages my communication skills, I hope to someday lead “Ted Talks” on self-esteem and confidence, particularly for young women. I hope you enjoy seeing my previous projects and feel free to reach out with any inquiries!

"Her classwork was excellent, but what stood out were her confidence and maturity..."

"Mary expressed interest in our emcee position, and I'll admit that I was a little nervous about having a 17 year old with a microphone in front of 14,000 fans! During her audition Mary demonstrated a maturity beyond her years, and came through with flying colors in her first game as emcee."
